Last night I heard what sounded like a scream. Just one, then silence. This morning when Chris went outside to get the papers he found a trail of blood on the driveway. We haven’t been able to figure out for sure what got what but suspect it was an owl getting a gopher. That’s what we hope anyway. We found a small animal print in blood on the driveway next to the spot where it looks to have been snatched. No other foot prints anywhere and a very long trail of blood drops, no smears or other foot prints.

Full-sized photo of blood trail.

Mystery blood on our driveway

Missy and her bow. She loves to carry things around in her mouth. I suppose if we were smart enough we could teach her to fetch. Right.

Merry Christmas

Wonderful new idea from Adobe. Just download the Adobe Air browser from http://labs.adobe.com/technologies/air/ and begin searching for your favorite color pallets. Save them to your Adobe Illustrator CS3 >Presets >Swatches >Art History folder.

Apparently, if you have Comcast, you no longer are paying to use the bandwidth as you want - Comcast has determined various applications and services just aren’t allowed. Things like peer-to-peer file sharing, other VOIP providers, Lotus email and FTP.

Comcast is being bad.
