Catalog Choice

If you get a ton of catalogs that you don’t want or need you can decline to receive them through Catalog Choice. It’s free but you do have to fill out a form with contact information and a password. In order for them to cancel the catalogs they need to know to whom and where it’s being sent.
I learned about it in a recent Jon Carroll column. SF Chronicle (11/27/07).
I know I receive catalogs from places I’ve never even heard of, especially this time of year.
